Paddlefest comes to Lake Julian on April 30, but we’re eager to show off our new boats! We’re bringing our demo kayaks and stand up paddleboards to Lake Julian for your chance to test them on the water earlier and with shorter wait times.
This free event is open to all ages, but those under 18 must have a parent or guardian present. We’ve got PFDs and paddles, but it’s a good idea to bring your own if you plan on testing multiple boats. Our entire 2017 demo fleet will be available including whitewater and fishing kayaks. This event is made possible through a partnership with Buncombe County Recreation Services.
Dogs and well-behaved kids with owner on leash are welcome. We also rent demo boats for $25 a day at our store on 1378 Hendersonville Road.
