Wednesday\, July 11th 10% of all sales from both Diamond Brand Outdoors locations and Frugal Backpacker will go to the Chimney Rock Community Development Association. Funds will be used to rebuild bridges and trails damaged by Subtropical Storm Alberto\, and preventing future washouts.\n\n\n \n\n\nCall it civic pride or mountain spirit\, but we think supporting the work of those maintaining trails\, cleaning waterways\, connecting youth to outdoors\, and doing other awesome things to keep WNC a place we can all enjoy…well\, it’s the right thing to do. As the area’s first outdoor store\, we’ve enjoyed the support of our friends and neighbors since 1964.\n\n
