Have you ever wanted to get to know the birds that you see and hear around you? Join international birdwatching guide Kevin Burke for an moderate hike on the Mountains to Sea Trail. We will look for typical winter species, such as Carolina Chickadee, Hermit Thrush, Golden, and Ruby-crowned Kinglets. We might also see early spring migrants like Northern Parula, Blue-headed Vireo, Hooded Warbler, Black-and-White Warbler, and Wood Thrush.
We’ll meet at Diamond Brand Outdoors in Parkway Center and walk to the Mountains to Sea Trail, which borders the store. Kids and well-behaved pets with owner on leash are welcome at this FREE event.
