Diamond Brand Outdoors opened the area’s first gear shop in 1964. We love the outdoors and making sure our customers have what they need for the best experience. That’s why we’ve made the Asheville Outdoor Show open to brands by invitation only. We want to showcase innovators known for quality, variety, and uniqueness. The Asheville Outdoor Show brings the finest outdoor brands and latest trends in recreation directly to consumers who live in the outdoor playground of the mountains of North Carolina.

Those attending the festival will enjoy last year’s perks including coupons, discounts, giveaways, raffles, and the chance to chat with industry leaders and demo the newest gear. This year includes an expanded music schedule, family adventure zone (featuring a climbing wall from Camp Cedar Cliff), yard games, and a nonprofit village. Fix It Man and Flying Pig FREE Gear Repairs will also be on hand to repair any backpacks, sleeping bags, or other gear that needs a few stitches to be functional again!

The community will have an excellent chance to find out about good things happening and volunteer opportunities thanks to Asheville Greenworks, Carolina Mountain ClubCamp Cedar Cliff, Friends of the Smokies, Friends of the WNC Nature Center, MountainTrue, Muddy Sneakers, River Link, and The North Carolina Arboretum.

Asheville Trails, Blue Ridge Outdoors, and Trailful will also be on hand with limitless information on enjoying the mountains that surround Asheville.

The first 1,000 attendees will receive a $10 gear card to Diamond Brand Outdoors and a $10 gear card to Frugal Backpacker. Everyone will be able to enter to win fantastic raffle prizes.
